If you don’t have family and friends available to help you move and you need to enlist the help of professional movers, this is a perfect place to start. Find out how much you can budget on moving expenses, and then call around and request quotes to find out which moving company is the right choice for you. As soon as you have your move-in date, be sure to make a reservation so that you’re not left without a mover last-minute. Moving companies are an excellent service and can significantly reduce the stress of moving for you, but don’t forget that it’s customary to tip the movers on the day of your move!

Consolidate and Clean Out
Moving is a perfect opportunity to go through all your belongings and figure out what you need, what you want, and what is simply taking up space in your home.
